Course Fee: $75 (fixed rate set by the State of Georgia)
This course is designed to teach you how to drive safely and responsibly by reviewing the basic rules of the road and covering many important Georgia highway laws. The 6-hour Defensive Driving Course is certified by Georgia's Department of Driver Services, and is often a requirement of Georgia courts.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a State of Georgia "Certificate of Completion", and the Department of Driver Services will be notified.

Benefits of Defensive Driving Course:
- License Reinstatement: If you are under the age of 21 and are cited for one of more tickets that accumalate 4 or more points on your licence in a 12 month period, you must complete this course before your license will be reinstated.
- Points Reduction: This course may be completed once every 5 years, to remove up to 7 points from your driving record and help prevent your license from being revoked.
- Court Fine Reduction / No Points: Receive up to a 20% reduction in traffic fines and possibly avoid points from being added to your driving record.
- Ticket Dismissal: It is possible to have a traffic ticket dismissed if you complete this course prior to your court date.
- Insurance Discounts: If you have a clean driving record for 3 years, you may take this course to receive a 10% -15% discount on your auto insurance premium.
