What is Joshua’s Law?

Since January 1, 2007, all 16-year-olds in Georgia applying for a Class D driver's license must first complete a driver’s education course approved by the Department of Driver Services.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a "Certificate of Completion" by the State of Georgia, and the DDS is notified.

Anyone 14 years or older can take Driver's Ed.
Students must have a permit for driving lessons, but not for Driver's Ed classes.

Once you have completed the classroom portion of Driver's Ed, we will email you a link to schedule your driving lessons online!

Note: There is a one time $5.00 set-up fee to create your account online for driving lessons.
